Story:

At twilight, Emperor Alexander's exhausted army made camp on a vast plain in Kashmir after an arduous journey. The emperor gathered his troops under the moonlit sky, raising his sword as a symbol of power before the camp settled into sleep beneath the mountain shadows.

At dawn, the soldiers awoke to an extraordinary sight - millions of purple saffron flowers had bloomed overnight across the entire plain. Alexander's advisors interpreted this miraculous occurrence as an unfavorable omen, prompting the emperor to order a retreat. Within hours, the army departed, leaving the purple crocus sativus flowers (the saffron flower) to wave peacefully in the rising wind as calm returned to the land.
